At Capital City Innovation we often get asked about the latest status of Central Health’s Downtown Campus, formerly the Brackenridge Campus. The site is a key location for Austin’s Innovation District and will serve as an anchor for district activities and programs. Most recently, Central Health released the news that a portion of the site has been leased to a non-profit, 2033 LP, in order to generate revenue for health care services and provide stable cash flow for the next phase of redevelopment.
Intended uses for the leased blocks are mixed use, retail and commercial space that will support health care innovation in Austin and beyond.
